Were you here when that dipshit made a post titled, "Anybody who replies to this post will be banned." He made good on his promise, though he was "disciplined" for it. He should have been fired. He's got a great formula going on Sploid: Find something somebody else created, make a GIF out of it, write one sentence about it, profit.

I remember Gawker doing that. One of the editors was trying to clean house, and dared people to reply to a post. What do you know? They followed through and un-starred/banned dozens (maybe hundreds) of users.
What I remember JD doing is arguing with commenters, and eventually turning to name-calling and other nastiness over a difference of opinion, which lead to a ban from commenting for a week or so.
